What type of vanity do you want? Is it a custom vanity or a pre-built vanity? Is it a double vanity or a single or two singles? What size is the vanity? A 30-inch vs. an 84-inch is a significant price difference. All these variables mean vanities can cost anywhere from $500 - $10k in your bathroom remodel.
Next is the countertop, and the next “depends.” If it is a custom vanity, it is a custom countertop. If it is a pre-built vanity, did it come with a countertop? Do you like the countertop? Custom countertops range from $65 to $100 a foot, depending on your desired material. Pre-fabricated countertops range from $100 – $1,500, depending on size and material.
We can talk about faucets, which vary depending on style and finish, but the typical range is $156 to $1,500. But don’t skimp here unless you want leaks later. Finally, new lights and mirrors. If you have mirrors glued to the wall, you must remove them and repair the drywall. There will be a cost for drywall repair in addition to the cost of the new mirrors. You can get new mirrors for $40 to $1000 depending on size and several other factors: are you buying them, having a custom one made, or purchasing lite mirrors? If you are replacing lights, they range from $50 - $200, but if you are moving them. Then you will need the electrical moved and the addition of electrical for lite mirrors. Oh, don’t forget a new toilet. They can range from $300 - $2000 if you want to get fancy.
